The WCATY Good                         Summer Overview        Academy Overview


In 2012-2013 academic year, WCATY served 1,595 gifted and talented students from across the state and beyond through its two main initiatives: WCATY Academy and WCATY Summer Programs. WCATY On-line Academy partnered with over 120 public and private school districts, bringing challenging curriculum to students where gifted educational resources are scarce by offering over 90 quarter-based sessions, a third of which are newly designed. WCATY Summer Programs served more than 300 students and provided need-based scholarships for 27% of its participants. WCATY collaborated, trained, and employed more than 100 teachers, counselors, and educational experts who worked with WCATY core staff to develop and deliver our services to gifted and talented students across Wisconsin.
